·        The mission of Margaret J. Weston Community Health Centers is to provide accessible, quality, comprehensive primary healthcare in a dignified and culturally competent manner to the population in Aiken County and surrounding areas.

·        The organization employs 31 staff members, and it has offices in Clearwater, Jackson and Aiken. Margaret J. Weston Community Health Centers was incorporated in March of 1970.

·         Margaret J. Weston Community Health Centers provides health services to people who otherwise cannot afford healthcare.

·         In 2008, Margaret J. Weston Community Health Centers served over 6,000 patients and provided approximately 17,000 medical visits

·        60 percent of the patients served by Margaret J. Weston Community Health Centers in 2008 were uninsured. The loss of Margaret J. Weston Community Health Centers would be a devastating blow to the residents of Aiken County who do not have access to healthcare.

·        Services offered by the Centers include:  Newborn and pediatrics; adolescent and teens; men’s and women’s health; elderly care; sports, school and work physicals; DOT exams; on-site pharmacy; and diabetes, blood pressure and cholesterol screening.
